Denville, NJ (Law Firm Newswire) January 22, 2020 – In case you missed the episode featuring Billy and Phylisse Cook on the Todd Leonard podcast, listen here.

Billy Cook, when he was 12-years old, realized that even though a baseball cannot change the whole world, it can change his and the lives of thousands of others. Billy came up with the idea of sending words of encouragement and cheer on baseballs. That’s how Billy’s BASEballs was created. Signing a ball for the U.S. troops is “a simple act of kindness in exchange for your time.”

Billy’s novel idea involves a seemingly ordinary baseball. Baseballs are ideal for Billy’s project because they have plenty of white space than can be used to send a message to the troops. To date, Billy and his family have been to more than 100 BASEball signing events.

Billy hosted his first BASEball’s signing in 2013 at a local town event. His initial goal was to have 100 balls signed. He reached his goal that very first day. Over the last six years he has sent almost 20,000 signed balls to U.S. active military members carrying messages of praise, thanks, hope and love.

Located in the Township of Washington, New Jersey, Billy’s BASEballs would love to hear from anyone who wants to volunteer and hold their own ball signing event. Billy can help with the details of organizing and mailing your baseballs. Anyone can join Billy’s BASEballs. If you are interested in joining visit here:
