Columbia, South Carolina – Joye Law Firm Injury Lawyers is expanding its popular “Joye Ride Home” program this St. Patrick’s Day weekend, March 13-15. The firm is offering $25 Uber vouchers to South Carolinians to encourage safe rides home and help reduce impaired driving during St. Pat’s festivities.

The Joye Ride Home program is part of the firm’s broader commitment to community safety. The firm has offered the initiative previously for major drinking holidays, at alcohol-themed festivals, and for college football rivalry games when impaired driving risks tend to increase. Following strong community response, the firm is now expanding the program statewide for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

“St. Patrick’s Day is one of the biggest celebration weekends of the year, and we want people to have fun while also making safe choices,” said Ken Harrell, Managing Partner at Joye Law Firm Injury Lawyers. “Our Joye Ride Home program is about removing barriers so people can easily choose a safe ride instead of risking driving impaired.”
To participate, South Carolinians must register by March 12 at 11:59 p.m. using the same email address or phone number connected to their Uber account. Vouchers will be delivered directly to participants’ Uber accounts by 10 a.m. on March 13.

The vouchers can be used for rides taken between March 13 at 12 p.m. and March 15 at 4 a.m., covering the peak period of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.
The Safe Ride Home initiative reflects Joye Law Firm’s long-standing commitment to community safety and injury prevention throughout South Carolina.

“As personal injury attorneys, we see firsthand the devastating impact that impaired driving can have on families,” Harrell said. “Programs like this are one way we can give back to our community while helping keep our roads safer.”

The firm encourages anyone planning to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day to arrange transportation ahead of time, whether through a designated driver, rideshare service, or public transportation.
